Any who! I chose LAVANILA because I've read nothing but good reviews about this product. More pricey than most natural deodorants, but it's does it job, but like any natural deodorizer, it does not last all day.

The Good
Since I moved to Tennessee last fall, there's not any Sephora stores except the one in JCPenneys which is kind of...blah, but they did have three deodorants to choose from, so I figure I'd try the most popular, Lavender. The smell isn't too strong, but pleasant. I can smell mostly the vanilla over the lavender, but it's still pretty.
If you ever tried on regular gel-type deodorants, this will give you the exact same cooling effect when you put this on. I'm not exactly sure what ingredient(s) makes it that way, but this will be nice when summer hits for sure!
I love that this deodorant also hydrates! Love of moisturizing ingredients, so your under arms wont feel all dry and, I suppose this is the word, cakes unlike regular deodorants do.
The packaging does not feel cheep whatsoever. Plastic, but sturdy.
The Bad
I'm not sure if I would consider this "Bad," but I knew when I bought this, that it wouldn't last all day, but any natural deodorant is going to do that since the main ingredient in most regular deodorants, aluminum, blocks all of your sweat which is actually a bad thing. You're blocking all those toxins that are trying to come out of your body. The first few weeks I used LAVANILA's deodorant, I'm not going to lie, I stunk. I wouldn't even lift my arms up at work, but about after a month, it reduce, so I'm assuming that most of the toxins came out of my under arms and I don't really smell or feel 'sweaty' as much. Mostly by the end of the day, the deodorant fades.
You do have to be careful when putting this on! This will leave a residue on your clothes (especially if you wear black a lot). Just FYI.
The Verdict
I like it. Even though it does fade by the end of the day, it's probably one of the best 'better-for-you' deodorants out there since it doesn't dry out your skin. I do think it's over priced for the ingredients, but I still think it's worth it. I would really like to try their Vanilla Coconut version when I run out of lavender. I'm also dying to try their Vanilla Blackberry and Vanilla Spice fragrance! Sephora doesn't carry everything from LAVANILA, so I highly recommend checking out their site!

out of five.
